For the last 15 years I've been working both on startup ideas with a lot of ambiguity, and on enterprise projects with a high expectation towards software quality. I consider this a great, diverse experience.
I like to work with people, review code, mentor and train engineers in favour together we ship a reliable software. The software that solves people's problems and enriches their lives.

I'm passionate about software craftsmanship.
Clean Code, TDD, refactoring are the things I practice myself every day and train peers. After systematically challenging 40 Senior Frontend engineers here at work, I decided to build a small community to champion knowledge sharing around an extremely useful subject — computer science applied to Typescript and React.
Software design patterns, SOLID principles, code smells, OOP, IOSP, walking skeleton architecture, Tell don't ask principle, TDD and much more.

I'm married to Janita. Together we have a kid.
Philanthropy
Every month since August 2019 my wife and I contribute to charity to help very sick children and their parents. We recognize how privileged our life is and wish to support kids and their parents to fight serious diseases. Until now we have donated €1820 to 51 kids and 20 parents.
